What a great day at Shantytown! Thanks to all the parents who helped out and a huge thanks to the educators at Shantytown who taught us all about ways water has been used.

Fun Jump Throw!
It was a day full of fun and mud! All the kids had great fun running races, jumping and throwing. Thanks to Ross School for joining in and to all the parents who helped run events and joined in to make it a great day.
The children have created podcasts (Playable On Demand broadCASTS) about the day which will be posted on here shortly.
We will also add a link to some pictures once we have them uploaded onto our school album.

Nelson Camp
Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic time in Nelson in February. We were able to check out; Talley's Ice Cream and fish factory - Minigolf - aquarium - meet Grunt-Grunt - go sailing - Swimming - hydroslide - BrugerKing! - painting plates - WoW museam - and more.
Huge thanks to the parents who came along and helped with everything and a big thanks to everyone who worked hard fundraising to make the trip possible.

Darfield School
