Chromebook Documentation

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We had hoped that we could send out all the documentation regarding the Chromebook finance this week but Mother Nature has other plans. Our printer is not working due to the lightning strike so the documents will come out next week. Thanks for your patience

Grandparents' Day

A big thank you to our grandparents for visiting us today and participating in making the healthy lunches. The Hoiho room took it one step further and made chocolate muffins from vegetables. Well done Mrs. Jordan and the kids from the Hoiho room!

Pet day inspiration

I know pet day is a long way off, but I saw this and thought what a great challenge for students bringing chickens!

Tuesday, February 2, 2016

Welcome to 2016

We are off to a scorching start this year... this picture shows the temperature in the office which is usually freezing.   So the children have come back keen to learn and catch up with their friends and swim all day!
We are certainly seeing some children struggling with the heat.  Please ensure that your child has a water bottle or encourage them to visit the fountain regularly. Sun hats are also essential this term.  Even when it's not this hot, they must be worn during term 1 and 4.  We know how hard it can be to sleep in this heat, but please do your best to keep your child's room a suitable temperature so they are well rested to cope with a full school day.

Once it cools down a little (I can't believe I've said that) and we have settled back into our routines we are looking forward to an exciting year of learning with the students!

I hope you have had a great summer and are enjoying your peaceful days now that the children are back at school!
