The Hoiho Class are learning how to use VoiceThread. This is a Web 2.0 tool that allows us to create slide shows that the students can add comments to. Comments can be made by adding text, voice recordings or videos. We will be using this next term as well. Here is one we started about our Run Jump Throw day.

ReplyDeleteI was the event controller for Discus for the recently held West Coast Primary Schools Athletic Champs…..I just wanted you, your Board and the kids to know how impressed I was with their “correctness” of technique when it came to the discus…..obviously there had been a lot of good teaching going on!!!!!! Well done to all concerned. Please pass on my congratulations to the students at your school.
I’m sure what I saw on the day will stand those kids in good stead should they continue through athletics in years ahead.
