Pukeko Class Investigate Temperature

WALT (We Are Learning To) compare cups of water that are at different temperatures and to order them from coldest to hottest.
WALT use a thermometer and spot that when things are hot the red liquid rises and when it is cold, the red liquid level goes down!
We used words like Freezing, Chilly, Cold, Warm, Hot, Boiling...

    1. Hi Mubashshir, thank you for your comment. No, there weren't any reactions as we only used water BUT we have done experiments where I bet there was a change in temperature...we added Potassium permanganate, water, dishwashing liquid and Hydrogen peroxide. It was spectacular...it looked like elephant toothpaste...and the glass jar definitely felt hot afterwards so it would have been good to use a thermometer; great thinking!
